I’m Kristina, a nature photographer and blogger who enjoys sharing my “Florida life" adventures revolving around my hobbies: crafting, photography, exploring, and more!

My photos range from birds, wildlife, and flowers to sunsets, beach and river shots. I love being outside in nature and seeing all that God has created and sharing that with others.

I am always describing nature as “free therapy” —a getaway, and place to reset my mind. I hope my photos inspire feelings of peace and calmness in your soul as you get lost in Florida’s enchanting nature and wildlife!

More about me

Before starting my photography business, I was a stay-at-home mom who always seemed to keep busy! I had a few part-time jobs and did a lot of volunteering when my boys were younger.

I am married to a wonderful man that owns his own business -he is not only my husband, but also my best friend! We have two boys, both are now young adults.

We have lived in FL since 2014 and we love it! I grew up in Maryland (DC area) and then lived in the Memphis TN area for 15 years. Both included many great experiences, but Florida is "HOME".

St. Augustine is such a neat town, it's historical, beautiful and quaint! We love to go to the beach, go fishing, and explore parks and other natural areas Florida has to offer!

In my younger years (ha ha), I was a Daycare Director and an Elementary School Teacher. I gave up working full-time to be home with my kids. It was an adventure for sure but one I would never trade for anything!

As my boys got older and more independent, some of the hobbies and things I started to enjoy on my own time were crafting, photography, shelling, birding, going to explore new places, and wildlife/animals in general. Those hobbies led me to start a Blog.

I liked to write about and share my adventures around town and other places in Florida as well. I also shared many, many DIY crafting ideas. At the same time, my love for photography grew as I was out adventuring and taking photos for my blog posts.

My husband purchased a camera for me back in 2018 and since then this hobby has grown into a passion {I have even updated my camera and gear}. My blog has thus taken a turn to be more focused on this passion. You can see my newest blog posts on this site (and my older blog posts over on my previous WordPress Blog here). {I have taken a break on the Blog but hope to get back to it soon!}

Now, my passion has taken the next leap into an official small business! I am excited about this next step and look forward to sharing more of my creative vision with you. I hope you will join me and follow along in this journey, as I hone my skills and share more of the beauty of St. Augustine and Florida with you.

I must not forget to take a moment and thank God, for all that I am including my photography talent, which is a gift, as none of this would be possible without Him. I would also like to thank my husband, family, and close friends for all the encouragement and support offered along the way.
